DS (Softlayer) Admin for Magento site - oDesk

I have an dedicated server from Softlayer and need a web admin expert to set it up for me.



The server will mainly be used to host Magento based fashion online shopping site with vast usage of images.



I will need someone with good server experience to do the following:



1. Discuss on the migration steps from a VPS setup to Dedicated Server (different web hosting companies).

2. Discuss the various server setting methods for Magento e-commerce website.

3. Configure the server based on the best optimization methods.

4. Make sure the server performance is optimal and provides solid security.





Contractor requirements



I am looking for a contractor that has the following skills:



1. Prior experience in setting up and configuring servers, especially with Magento platform

2. Ability to explain recommendations clearly along with the pros and cons



I will need you to be available between 00:00 - 15:00 (GMT +0) for the discussions with me, but you can otherwise work on your own time.
