Senior Web Developer for a startup B2C/SNS Fashion website backend building - oDesk

About Us:

We are a B2C/SNS Fashion internet start-up operated under the name Customaid. Is is a for profit social enterprise in which our aim is to create the BEST fashion designer community online in which we give fashion designers a platform to upload their designs, show off their design, manufacture their design, sell their design, and build their fashion fans. On top of helping fashion designers to make their mark. Certain percentage of each sales will go to a user specified charity. So, in a word, Customaid is a web platform to bridge fashion designers, fashion workers, fashion plants, fashion lovers, and charity together!





Job description:

Currently, we have already finished the visual design and the frontend html/css coding for first version of planned website.

Right now, we will need a Senior Web Developer who will take over the finished front-end pages, and build the entire backend architecture for the features and dynamic interaction needed.



Your responsibilities:

-Devise the technical architecture based on the website demand and business model

-Develop the entire backend of the website

-Maintain the website and fix the bugs after delivery for specified amount of time according to contract

-Communicate with other team member



Your qualifications:

- Experience on B2C and/or SNS websites as senior developer or CTO

- Programming languages: PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Ruby on rails

- 3-5 years of programming experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Passion to build rich feature and interaction websites

- The drive, flexibility and passion to work independently and thrive in a remote-work environment

- Strong communication skills

- A complete Elance profile

- References or an established reputation on Elance preferred
