I require a Wordpress/Web Designer for my web design business.
This position will require you to modify Wordpress themes such as the Elegant themes package (www.elegantthemes.com) and other themes to achieve a desired look our clients are going for.
You must have a strong understanding of Wordpress, HTML, PHP, CSS Stylesheets and editing existing Wordpress themes.
Here are expected duties and requirements in this role :
- Editing pre-existing wordpress themes to suit the clients needs
- Creating attractive headers, footers and other graphic adjustments to suit the site
- Sourcing useful tools, plugins and other web resources to meet clients needs (eg. scheduling plugins, calendar plugins, advanced contact forms etc)
- An eye for design. I have studied Graphic Design and understand what looks good to the eye, therefore I expect you to also have a good eye for clean design.
- Clear communication and strong English is vital, as you will be working under a Project Manager and myself.
The hourly rate is lower than usual, due to a commission based reward system. You will be paid a bonus for every clients site that is completed on time.
In addition, as our company grows, there will be opportunities for hourly rate rises also.
Please also note this role is suited only to a Phillipino Wordpress/Web Expert, as most of our team is on that time zone.
