Job Description
-We are looking for someone to transcribe 1 hour of english language interviews. There are 3 videos. One has 1 main speaker, one has 2 main speakers, and one has 5 main speakers. Two of the videos feature central africans, and the last features South Africans, so it is important that the person we hire be comfortable with those accents. The transcriptions would need to be very detailed, and include careful timecode references. There may be potential for more transcription work in the coming months.
Contractor requirements
-You must be able to effortlessly understand and write English, and have a strong command of spelling and punctuation. These accents can be difficult to understand, so please be sure you can work quickly even when transcribing for different accents. In addition, you must have experience with transcription. Everything must be transcribed by the end of the day on April 20th.
How to apply
-In addition to the cover letter (you can be brief), please submit 2 transcription samples that have timecode references.
