Wordpress Directory Theme Design









We need a custom theme built using wordpress that will serve as a local directory for our business members.



We only have one member per business category.



We will use wordpress posts and categories, but need a special section within the admin to create "listings." These listings will have some custom fields.



We are currently using DirectoryPress, but we want to abandon that and have our own clean theme.



The look at feel, however, will be similar to existing site:

Additional notes:



- A simple wordpress site, where you can post normal pages like the core WordPress does.



- A custom area to add "Directory Listings", where users can enter, Business name, description, address, contact number, Google map embed code (if the auto generated map is not correct), Categorize this business (like usual wordpress categories). Listing should also have the option of a video that will display on the listing page.



- Slider on the top of front page (listings in a particular category will show on this slider)



- The listing description page would show, rating, Share buttons, Main image and the Image gallery.



- The contact us page would have a contact form, with the address information.



- We will also have articles and other posts on the site, just use WP regular posts/categories.



- Sidebars and footer need to be widgetized so we can add special functions using WP widgets



Your bid must include quality design with revisions until we are happy.



Then full build-out of wordpress functionality.



I'm putting a budget of up to $500 on this, but if you can competitively build it for less and still fulfill all our requirements, then bid lower.
