Telemarketer and Appointment Setting - oDesk

We are in need of a person able to make telephone calls daily to Melbourne Australia.

You will be given access to a voip account you will just need to link your softphone settings. You will need to have your own broadband and microphone headset.



The individual will need to work under the GMT +10 time zone hours of 8am-5pm. Duties will involve:



1. Telephoning business’s every day (using a script that will be provided) and setting appointments

2. Relying on Google Maps to determine the location of the customers

3. Using Google and yellow pages online to obtain a list of businesses to call

3. Entering appointment data into Gmail Calendar with information gathered via telephone



Contractor requirements



We are looking for people with the following attributes:



You must have strong English and good communication skills

Understands phone and email etiquette, be respectful at all times

Be familiar with Gmail Calendar or willing to learn

Is available between 8am – 5pm GMT +10, Monday through Friday



Natural conversationalist's on the phone

Excellent with Customer Service - you anticipate and react to the needs of customers

Assertive: you are an experienced telemarketer and are comfortable picking up the phone and making outbound calls

Ability to get past the gatekeeper!

Have the gift of the gab & love talking on the phone

Flexible with your availability (weekdays)

****Must be respectful to the customer whatever the clients attitude towards you

Able to start ASAP.

Dependent upon your success, this could lead to an ongoing arrangement.
