Seasoned Drupal expert/architect needed - URGENT - oDesk

We are looking for a seasoned Drupal developer to import our site from Pligg CMS to Drupal 7. This is only an import - Drupal site will be already designed/configured to match the functionality of current Pligg site.



What needs to be imported:



1) Nodes (including image, votes, number of views, author information and other fields)

2) User Details (Registration information, profile information, avatar, user type, statistics etc.)

3) Static pages (just a few)

4) Wordpress blog posts and comments only (around 200 posts or less). Wordpress installation has just 2 authors.



Key Modules/APIs:



- UserPoints

- Voting Api (Rate Module)

- Field Types

- Importers

- Pathauto

- Other modules that you may suggest to get the job done



Key requirements:



- Imported content specially nodes should retain the same URL path to avoid broken links

- This change should not affect the users - they should be able to log in with existing login details and have all their data available in the Drupal site.



Please note that Drupal used to have a Pligg Importer under Drigg module (please see link below). You can get some ideas from there. However, we don't want to use Drigg as all the functionality can be obtained by other updated modules and if you create/rewrite a new module, it should just be a one time import module/script.

Pligg tables are very simple and can be exported easily. You can use any of Drupal's migration modules or import using custom code - AS LONG AS end result is achieved.



We have around 20,000+ nodes and 20,000+ users so it is a big database. You will need to support us through beta testing to final site changeover.

Long term business is a possibility if you impress us with your skills. We own 10+ sites high traffic Australian sites (50,000 pageviews per day) and there is always plenty of work for the right developers.
