convert c program to JNI java class - oDesk

I have a fairly simple c example program that I would like to have converted to a java class.



The c program calls an api to control video capture. We are currently using a ProcessBuilder to call the c program. I would like to take the c program out of the equation and use java directly to call the api via JNI.



I will not be able to supply the hardware, so to some extent you will be working blind as you will not be able to do a full end to end test. I will be able to run as many test programs as you like though.



Target platform is linux.



Deliverable should be java source code, any c source code and instructions on how to build and use.
