Joomla migration problem database encoding htaccess by georgebr

I have offered a free Joomla Virtuemart migration from one host to another...The files and the database moved ok, but i have some encoding issues (????) in some modules..and some images are not shown (wrong path)... (Budget: $30-$250 USD, Jobs: Joomla, MySQL, PHP, Virtuemart)
