SEO work on wordpress site - oDesk

Job Description



I am looking for an SEO expert to work on a website I am running that is currently getting most of its traffic through google images. It also ranks 5th for its best keyword and pretty much non-existent for any others. The goal of the project is to be ranked number 1 for multiple long tail keywords which I will reveal in private. Attention should be paid to:



1. Google and Yahoo sitemap creation

2. Image & hyperlink optimization

3. Update and optimize all meta tags (including keyword tag)

4. Custom 404 page development and fix any broken links

5. Any other basic SEO work you can find with the site.



I will provide the contractor with a full layout of the site and prioritized areas to work on and expectations on timing for completing these areas.



Contractor requirements



I am looking for a contractor who meets the following requirements:



1. Has strong SEO skills, as represented by previous work

2. Is familiar with wordpress and all SEO pluggins

3. Will work within my time zone (Brisbane, Australia)

4. Is looking for the opportunity to become a part time or full time employee in the near future. This will be subject to how well you work on this task.

5. Be willing to give ME advice and suggestions about the project.

6. Be very communicative by updating me with all that they're doing.

7. Have great English speaking and typing abilities.
