Video App development needed for IPAD - oDesk

The app functions:



1. Generate a mobile web page.

2. A video record function, which will also trigger the Prompter.

3. A function to store and then upload the video to the generated page.

4. A function to input text and then have it appear large (Prompter) and scroll.

5. A function to control the prompter speed and delay between the start of the video recording and the start of the scrolling.

6. A function to upload photos and video clips. (These video clips are supplementary to the main video mentioned in 1.)

7. A simple video trim function for the main video (1)

8. Social Media functions to post the mobile site generates to Facebook, etc.

9. A finalize button.

10. Generate Mobile Webpage that includes all video, text and uploaded pictures.

10. QR Code generated linking to Mobile Web Page.







The idea is for a person to be able to paste text into the text box, then have it appear in the prompter, click record, then read the scrolling text. Then the person can trim the video if they need to or rerecord if they made a mistake. Also, if their are photos or video clips related to the text, they can be selected for upload.



Once the person has recorded their main video, selected the extra photos and video clips, the whole lot should be uploaded to a mobile webpage that is generated when the user clicks finalize. Also, a QR Code should be generated linking to the mobile page.



In other words, After a person pastes in the text and video records themselves reading the text from the scrolling teleprompter, they will upload it all so that anyone who scans the QR Code can see the mobile page containing the recorded video, the text and the extra photos.



Your responsibilities:



- Review business requirements working with other team members

- Perform a technical analysis of requirements

- Produce a solid, detailed technical design

- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision

- Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround

- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use



Your qualifications:



- Programming languages: iOS SDK, Objective-C, Cocoa

- Additional skills: Xcode

- A work style that is extremely detail oriented

- Strong communication skills

- A complete Elance profile

- References or an established Elance reputation preferred
