Video Editor - oDesk

Job Description:



We are looking for a video editor with experience in assembling materials such as graphics, photography, dialogue, raw camera footage sound effects and other special effects into a finished quality product.



Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• cutting shot sequences to various angles;

• studying scripts;

• editing films to include sound effects, dialogue, music and other elements;

• correcting errors;

• selecting shots for each scene suitable for the story line;

• verifying time codes and key numbers;

• choosing specific visual effects, music and special audio;

• organizing raw footage into a continuous film;

• programming graphic effects;

• setting up and operating computer editing systems;



Requirements:



2 years minimum experience in making Video presentations and other creative media productions

o expert in using your non-linear video editing system

o ability to be creative and make suggestions to make the project even much better



YOU MUST BE ABLE SEND SAMPLES OF WORK TO BE CONSIDERED. Please only include samples of videos that you are PROUD of and explain your role in developing these videos.



Affordable hourly rate is going to be a huge factor in our decision. We want someone with a good track record that is priced very competitively. This is a hire we will be making immediately. With an immediate work available for the right candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exceptional computer skills

Experienced with Editing Programs and Software

Hourly Rate: $2.00/hr - $3.00/hr

English Level: Fluent in written and verbal skills

Should have a portfolio
