Wordpress expert (develop theme + move existing web shop to Wordpress - woocommerce) - oDesk

Two things to do

1. Develop a Wordpress theme for a wooden toy store

2. Move current non-Wordpress web shop to Wordpress (WooCommerce)





Develop a Wordpress theme for a toy store:

Theme must be colorful, have a childish appearance yet be professional.

Main page to the site must show all the products in a grid, 4 products per row.





Move content from old web shop to the new Wordpress site (WooCommerce):

Shop has 11 products. All in all around 60 pages and 150 images.

All the content is already done, both text and images. You only need to move them to the new Wordpress site.

Domain name already exists. Web hosting already exists.



Developer needs to have SEO skills as I want to have SEO friendly URLs.

I also need to move all my current page urls (which are not URL rewritten) with a permanent move 301. The same will probably have to be done for the images as they are already indexed by Google today.



Web shop payment method is Payson (similar to Paypal). There are plugins for Payson, I will buy this plugin.



I have a flat rate for shipment and so don't need any freight calculation depending on what the customer orders. It's always the same fee.





What I require from you:

Trustworthy and professional. I need daily feedback on what has been worked on during the day.

You must be responsive with replying to requests on email and/or Skype.

If you don't have the time to take on this project then don't bid as I require that work on this starts immediately upon contract agreement. If you have another job that is more important than mine then please don't bid, nobody wants to be down prioritized and this type of behavior will only lead to a sour business relationship.



Of course, you must be an experienced Wordpress developer.

Experience with WooCommerce.

Great design skills for development of the wordpress theme.



You should develop everything on your own development server. You provide me with login details to be able to follow what has been done and to be able to discuss together with you what remains, needs to be modified etc.

After we agree that everything is done you get user credentials to my server and upload the whole thing.



I have more work in the pipeline, if this turns out to be a good match there will for sure be more working coming. I prefer long term cooperation with someone I trust and can do the stuff I require than for me to have to post a project on a place like oDesk looking for new people all the time.
