WEB DESIGN

Includes banner, 9 items on horizontal menu bar, 12-15 pages including landing page with video and opt-in box, rotating testimonials (preferably no limit to the number of testimonials), search box, members area, blog and site map.



• Looking for an effective, clear design and navigation.

• Needs to look good on mobile enabled devices.

• Apps integration.

• Ability to register to RSS, Facebook and LinkedIn.

• Site must be quick to load and display pages.

• Ensure that the site is compatible with all major browsers, including Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome.

• Include a search box that allows the internal search of my content.

• Enable navigation to the previous or next page within a menu section.



PROPOSED TIMELINE

a. Proposals received by June 29, 2012

b. Winning bidder notified by July 1, 2012

c. Beta site for review by July 8, 2012

d. Proposed site launch July 15, 2012



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Please respond to this posting only if you can easily meet this requirement and all the above specifications, have experience in all these areas, and are able to perform all parts of this task on your own and on time, with no delays. (Delays will result in cancellation of the contract.)

a. In your response, you need to show me that you understand what I need, have the skills and experience to meet the requirements of the job, and have the time available to complete the job by the deadline.

b You understand the requirements of Social Media Marketing.

c. Site needs to be well optimized for the search engines. So you must consider yourself excellent at SEO.

d. You must be familiar with opt-in processes, autoresponders (aWeber), and merchant services.

e. If you are able to demonstrate exceptional skills (such as guaranteed search engine placement / SEO ranking / other relevant skills) you should highlight this fact and produce proof.

f. I will want your recommendations – based on your experience – regarding which WordPress theme and shopping cart I should select.



TERMS

a. Make your bid a single sum fee (to complete the project). Unfinished bits and pieces make me crazy. The reason I am outsourcing this project is so that I can focus on the business and not the technology.

b. Please make sure you provide at least three examples of your work/portfolio in your initial bid (URLS).

c. Quotes in USD please.

d. I always pay on time and within 24 hours of completion of the project.

f. Bidders must be able to demonstrate their previous work. If, in response to this posting, you send me a non-customized template of your experience, you will be automatically disqualified, because I want to see immediately whether or not you understand exactly what this project requires, and whether or not you can meet those needs.

g. This job will have a seven-day deadline after which it will be pulled and reassigned.

I have a second WordPress site that needs to be upgraded after this site is completed.
