Joomla customizing - oDesk

We are in search of a Joomla expert. We need an expert in customizing Joomla and creating additional components.



Our Joomla instance has a Warp 6 theme from Yootheme (www.yootheme.com). We created a FAQ with ZOO from the same company. Next to that we use RS!Form pro from RSJoomla (www.rsjoomla.com) and some other components which are of no importance for this assignment.



Our users can request new questions in the FAQ by using the RS!Form. The request is handled by our back-office and and when accepted added to the FAQ system.



The process is shown in the attached image.



The assignment.

We have two additional needs. These needs may be fulfilled by setup, customization or an additional component. It's up to your expertise.



The first addition.

In the front end we want the user to be able to see the status of his request, if any. The following fields must be shown (not necessary in the shown order) to the user:

- Request date

- Date of last status change

- The new question

- Status of the request



A request can have the following status

- Open

- Handled by: <name>

- Existing. See FAQ: <link>

- Added to the FAQ. <link>



If we want to show the status to the user we obviously need a way of setting the status in the back-end. This must be arranged in some way.



The second addition.

In the back end new requests are stored in a database table from RS!Form. The FAQ's are stored in the database tables of ZOO. When adding a new question to the FAQ system we now have to copy the question from the RS!Form table to the ZOO table. This needs to be automated. Our employees need a way in the back end to do this. At this point the best way should be when the back-end user sets the status to added, the FAQ will be copied to the correct table.



Please respond if you are the expert who can help us with the above assignment. As the first part is high priority for us we want an estimate on cost and duration for creating this part. Next to that we are also interested in what the estimate is for the second part.
