PINK PUBLISHING is looking for a very creative ghostwriter to write 5 erotic short stories between 6,000-7500 words long. Our team will help pick the title/story line/theme/etc… but we always give our writers creative freedom and ultimately the ability to come up with their own concepts. These short stories will be published in anthologies under pen names and the writer's real name won't be public. This starter job pays $250 total and has the potential to turn into a regular work.
What we want:
- Good writing. We're looking for excellent spelling, syntax, and grammar.
- 5 short stories, each at least 6,000-7500 words long.
- The story needs to be written from the female’s perspective. You cannot bounce from perspective to perspective.
- Plot-driven erotica. Don't just describe sex scenes - create fleshed-out characters and give them some motivation. The stories need to have exposition that introduces characters and builds sexual tension, conflict, and then resolution in the form of sexual gratification. The stories must be very sensual.
- Characters who undergo an arc of development. The protagonists can be flawed, but must be likeable characters. It's okay if they're not physically perfect. Sex scenes relevant to the plot. The stories should be about the protagonist's sexual journey.
- Very explicit sex scenes. Readers should be titillated by the stories. The stories can be romantic, but the sex scenes must be described in hardcore detail in adult-oriented language. At least 40% of the text should be describing sex scenes. The stories should have happy endings always leaving the reader feeling good.
- Each story must be submitted with a 75-150 word summery encouraging the reader to want to read the story. These Summaries are what you will use in getting your story approved but may need to be tweaked upon completion of your work.
Things to know:
- If you don't have experience writing erotica, check out a few Siren or Ellora's Cave books and we can provide you with examples of what works.
- Write in the first or third person, but don't head hop.
- All sex must be consensual, but feel free to include BDSM.
- Stories can feature either one very long explicit sex scene or multiple brief sex scenes.
- Group sex or multiple partners are okay.
- As stated above our readers are women. Avoid anything blatantly misogynist. Unless the story is MM, the female character should be the main protagonist.
- Funny stories are okay as long as they're sexy. The reader needs to be aroused.
What we don't want:
- No underage characters – must be 18 years old or older. (older male with younger female OR older female with younger male is great BUT everyone has to be 18 years old or older)
- No incest – However, stepfathers, stepmothers, stepbrothers, and uncles not related by blood are ok and it must be stated at least one time in the beginning of the story as well as in the summery/descriptions.
- No bestiality. Shape shifters must engage in sex in their human forms.
- No rape, dubious consent, or non-consensual sex. However, aggressive BDSM is ok.
- No injurious insertions.
- No excretory functions.
- No necrophilia.
- No murder.
- No stories that degrade or vilify any group based on sex, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, etc.

- By applying/accepting this job you agree that this is a work for hire situation. Polyglot Content owns full and exclusive rights to the material. The material may be used or altered in any manner without your name appearing anywhere. You have no rights to republish or distribute the material in any form.
- These stories will be published under a pen name. Your real name won't appear anywhere on the work.
- The publisher owns complete and exclusive rights to the story. Writers will need to sign a writer's contract.
- No plagiarism. All stories must be 100% original and will be checked with Copyscape. Plagiarized or previously published work won't be accepted.
- After storylines have been approved we need each story submitted within 3-4 day time frame so come month end we will have all 5 stories completed.
- Full payment is released when your agreement is signed and your final draft/summary is accepted. We don't accept stories that are poorly written or filled with spelling and grammatical errors.
