Prestashop modify for rental - oDesk



Development prestashop site for rental equipment.



Require changes to do a prestashop based platform to be used to make equipment rental.

The site is based on this form: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/marketplace/3726-rental-module.html (we buy it ourselves)

But ...

require some customization:



- Pricing - is not included as a fixed price, but is calculated using a formula. Multiplying the daily rate x days x costant_value



- Availability of products for hire. It will be necessary to introduce a table (I guess in the backend) from which will be visible to the administrator the availability of products based on current rentals and rentals provided (requires that the system automatically prohibits the purchase of the rental if a product is not available for the days indicated). If, for example, you request a product available for 4 days from the table / System only for 2 days, or not at all helpful to the amount of product required, the system should give a reply message with text editable.



- Payment by credit card and bank



- Changing the contact page with additional fields



- Provide a security deposit to be added automatically in your cart if you exceed a certain threshold value (WARNING: Do not hire price, but value of the property, I imagine this would result in backend always another table that links to each product Its specific value)



- Provide the ability to block the purchase to the shopping cart for amounts exceeding a certain threshold, usually by contacting the administrator via the contact form. In the cart you will see a popup instead of continuing to make the purchase.



- Configure the timing of rental and for days, even for hours (the rule set delivery and collection during business hours). As for the weekend, making it navigable and rental payments from users, excluding the rules of delivery and pick over the weekend.



- The system should send an email to notify the Administrator user and the day before the return of a product and automatically update the inventory. The question is: in case of retention, inventory management, will be manual?



- The module must be able to handle the rental for each individual product availability to hire with different timing. For example, there are products that the Administrator does not have in stock but needs to pick up in turn. To these we must provide that the rental days do not depart from the day after the date hereof but with a timetable to be inserted manually.



- At the end of the flow of purchase, in the selection of the "Courier" provide for the costs: in the withdrawal / delivery / delivery + support.

If you choose the "courier" delivery + support must reappear the usual contact form to the Chief (not to be able to purchase this solution directly into the rental car rental + support).
