Looking for Digitally Drawn Comic Strip - oDesk

Hello oDesk,



Our Company is called Get Diggin Auctions and we are looking for something pretty unique. We are looking for a One of a kind art piece that would target our younger audience. We are looking to have a small maybe 4-5 Scene Comic Strip made. We do not have a Set in Stone idea for the context of the comic strip, this is where we really want to give the artist the chance to let creativity shine. We want a preferably Vector piece that portrays a young toon like character that is some how out with his Metal Detector and makes some kind of real cool find (expensive, unique, weird, something along those lines for the find/treasure) We are looking for something that will be funny to the younger crowd but also appeal still to the older crowd (does not need to be aimed towards old crowd, just not discourage them from looking) The most important part of the comic is we some how want our company logo in it somewhere some how. whether it be on the side of a building, or on a sign or even on the characters clothing. Our logo is in our profile.



I know this is kind of a off the wall request, but there is not much illustration to choose from in the metal detecting community so we want this unique piece to help promote our site and get more of the younger crowd interested in the hobby.



If the strip works out and people love it, we will most likely continue the series with the artist. This is something that I would like to see work done by the artist just to make sure our styles match, but after that I am going to have to feel I trust the artist because I am basically giving them free reins with the rest



Our budget for this is low, we are a start up company that has a lot of priorities but we think this little illustration will draw in some people. Working with a reasonable price, we will be sure to advertise the Artist when posting the Comic.



We will be attaching a image just to kind of show our style. Please be sure to give us a estimate on how many hours you think you will have invested into this Comic Strip.
